HURRICANES DISCOVER AARON STEPHENSON

We are delighted to announce the signing of new player Aaron Stephenson.

Rich Squires said:

Aaron is another addition which has gone under the radar over recent years. He is a huge human being and offers natural aggression which you can’t coach. Having spoken to a number of individuals they had nothing but gleaming reviews and commented on his willingness to learn. Coaching somebody who wants to learn is half the battle and the amount of energy Aaron brings to the table gives everybody around the changing room a lift. He adds another dimension of size to our squad and can do some real damage if applying himself in the correct way.

Hurricanes is the first club that has given me a 1st team opportunity, after hearing about how good the club is from the other Northumbria lads and the ambition and goals that the club have I couldn’t say no to joining the club and helping achieve the goals.

I’m looking to bring some powerful carries down the middle and be strong in defence.

I want to achieve a solid position in the team and eventually work my way up to a starting position every week.
