Tom Blakey Signs for Hurricanes

Tom commented:

I am looking forward to the new challenge of being back in a professional environment and aid the club to a successful season. I chose to sign for the midlands hurricanes as there is some good lads down there and I believe the club as so much potential in the coming years. I want to give my all for the team in this coming season and aim to push the club into playoff position by the end of the season, I believe I can bring some aggression and drive for the team in the middle.

Tom is a very agressive and no nonsense individual which will add some real versatility and depth in our pack this year.

He has been playing for West Hull in the NCL.

He has the ability to play both hooker and loose forward and will be the fittest bloke on the park. The work he puts in away from the training ground has allowed him to put his best foot forward during pre season. He’s been in fantastic systems before and worked under some great coaches so I’m looking forward to Tom being with us this pre season.
