WOMEN'S 2025 FIXTURES REVEALED

Midlands Women to compete in six-team, 10-game festival format for 2025

With the Men’s Betfred League One season underway this weekend, we’re pleased to confirm that provisional fixtures for the Midlands Hurricanes’ women’s team have been released by the Rugby Football League. Six teams will compete in the 2025 Midlands Women’s competition, with the Canes - sponsired by Tyrelab - joined by Coventry Bears, Leamington Royals, Telford Raiders, Nottingham Outlaws and Sheffield Eagles A.

As with the 2024 season, the competition will adopt a “festival” format, with all six teams hosting an individual festival weekend at their home ground and multiple games taking place over the course of each afternoon. The Hurricanes are currently scheduled to host the second festival weekend on Sunday 22 June 2025, the same weekend that the Men’s side are set to welcome Goole Vikings to the Alexander Stadium. The festival format will see each team play ten games across five rounds between mid-June and early August 2025.

Following the success of the nine festival weekend at Telford Raiders in 2024, there will also be a Midlands Nines Festival weekend on 3 July 2025 where a separate trophy will be up for grabs in what promises to be an exciting Sunday of fast-paced action.
