JACK DAWSON RE-SIGNS

We are delighted to announce the re-signing of Jack Dawson. Jack burst onto the League One scene after joining the club last year from local Midlands club Derby Elks. Comfortable in either the back row or centre Dawson proved to be a handful for defences throughout the season and this ensured his place in the squad was a regular one.

I’m delighted to have signed for another year. I really enjoyed my first year in the team. We made great progress last season and got some good results. I’m excited to build on that further and push for playoffs next year. We’ve kept a good group from last year and the coaches are continuing to instil a great work ethic and bond between all the lads so next year will be an exciting challenge. Support from the fans and community has been great it was great to see people from my old club Derby Elks at home games so I’m looking forward to seeing it continue into 2022 with the new Hurricanes brand hopefully attracting more attention.
